During this war, the colonists prove to the rest of the land that they were becoming an upcoming world power. The patriots who fought in the war were willing to die for their country and develop independent. Although, the British won many battles, they obtained little from their victories. Therefore, the colonist had to a greater extent to gain from the war than the British had to lose, creating more of an incentive to go far through. The Americans didn’t win all the battles, but showed true success in the cardinal’s that they did. The outcome of the war for independence is that the Americans won. The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on June 17, 1775.
